I saw these lamps in May during the Milan design festival (my photos) but haven’t posted them until now. Both are created by Progetto25zero1…
Pupa is a lamp that you have to caress to turn on and off. There are no switches, instead you have to gently stroke the fur inside. It really had a brilliant tactile feel to it. They are handmade in Italy (photos on the site) and available to order. Like the Elica lamp, I think they would both feel more natural if there was variable light dimming instead of on/off, hopefully something that might be added in the future.
