As the author of Pixelsumo, I am often asked if I can recommend people for jobs or freelance positions, as well as posting those requests on the blog. A recent survey of readers suggested that a dedicated jobs & opportunities board would be in high demand, so Pixelsumo Jobs is born.
Pixelsumo readers are dedicated and fill a very particular niche of programmers, designers, tinkerers within fields such as installations, exhibits, physical computing, mobile software, product development & software engineering. These roles are often hard to find, as many digital recruitment sites focus on web designers, flash developers etc.
Over the coming months I will be adding more features, as well as developing partnerships with schools & colleges to use the site as a springboard for new graduates.
