NDSVisuals is a wireless VJ controller using the Nintendo DS. Ndsvisuals utilises the DS features, such as two screens, a touchscreen, wireless networking. The DS is used as an input device to control VVVV patches in realtime.
Watch this video [Quicktime or Windows Media] to see the functions such as:
display and arrange video footage, change color/opacity of layers, scratch videofiles by moving the stylus over the touchscreen, control the vvvv-patches directly with the NintendoDS, change the opacity of all three layers by using a 2D-crossfader and include your own vvvv-patches as plugins, just by placing them into a specified directory and inserting a few special-named input nodes.
Created as a student project by Matthias Zauner, Ralph Windischhofer and Martina Karan at the University Of Applied Science Hagenberg.
