Back in October 2006, I wrote about some new product concepts from Philips (read here). For me the most exciting was Drag & Draw, a digital painting kit that lets children draw on their walls without leaving a mess. A small laser projector in a bucket traces outlines of childrens drawings, tracked by a glowing virtual brush. You can mix colours in the bucket using the stirring metaphor. The magic wand tool allows you to bring animations to life, as it remembers a sequence of drawings and can play them back.
Verry little information was available at the time, but now a video has appeared showing this wonderful product. Such a fantastic concept & lovely interaction design, lets hope its affordable. I’m going to try and find more info from Philips, so will give you an update soon.

This is excellent. I am doing a study on early learning toys and would love to know more if you can about it!
