[reporting on the rca show 2005]
connect..draw..remix (formerly CD Sequencer) is a project by Matthew Falla. It is a concept for interactive CD packaging. You plug the CD box into your usb port via a cable, plug in a card containing metal stripes then draw across the stripes using a pencil. The circuit measures the resistance between the stripes and can be used to control the sound remix. Mixes can be saved by removing the card and inserting a new one. Nice project, and speaking to Matthew it is commercially viable as well.

Maybe it will breathe some life into this industry.
Then again, maybe it will be a poorly received expensive fad that never catched on.
Who knows?
